Frequently Asked Questions
No, we are looking for both raw talent and experienced artists
We ask all students to bring your own brushes, portable easel and drawing pads. Paints, canvas, and turpentine will be provided.
The daily schedule for the art seminar is from 10am to 6pm, with a break for lunch. Sometimes we go out for morning plein air painting (painting Vrindavan landscape from life). We encourage everyone to participate as much as possible to get the full benefit of the classes. The seminar continues for 3 weeks. If there are festivals or special days, we will not have class.
The seminar classes are held a 5 minute walk from Krishna Balaram mandir, in a very nice area of Vrindavan, with a very large studio space for all. There are many accommodations around Krishna Balaram including the guest house from Krishna Balaram mandir, the MVT right behind the mandir, and so many others very nearby,
Go to ISKCONVrindavan.com For a list of available guest houses with accommodations.
After registering you can also join our email list and talk to others who have come or will be coming to coordinate travel plans.
There is no child care facility that we provide during the seminar. If possible it would be best if you could come on your own to have the most possibility for focusing.
